In 2023, the California Education Code that implemented SB 1359 was modified to expand the cost transparency requirements of the California Community Colleges and the California State University system. In addition to provided textbook and supplemental material information in our online course schedules, all costs must now be shared. Read about AB 607.. Although this new requirement has been added to California Education Code section that established the no-cost marking requirement, it is a new and separated requirement (access AB 607).
