During the summer of 2019, the OERI received additional funds to engage in a project focused specifically on improving ECE and CD instruction. We are pleased to share the eight Canvas course shells that have been populated with openly licensed or freely available video resources and suggestions for their use. The eight course shells are aligned to the “CAP 8” courses that comprise the Early Childhood Education Transfer Model Curriculum. Access to the shells is available through a template course that provides more explanation for their use. In addition, where an OER text is available for a particular course, that resource has been integrated into the shell which will be available for easy adoption via Canvas Commons. As additional resources for these courses are made available, they will be incorporated into the shells.
