OER provide opportunities to reduce textbook costs, improve student access, and customize learning materials to meet diverse instructional needs. This webinar is designed for both faculty new to OER and experienced users, offering an overview of economics-specific textbooks, supplemental resources, and platforms such as OpenStax, LibreTexts, and OER Commons, along with practical strategies for finding, evaluating, adopting, and adapting materials for microeconomics and macroeconomics courses. Participants will explore useful resources through guided demonstrations and leave with practical tools and strategies they can immediately apply to their teaching, followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion.
