In the past few years, the availability and quality of open educational resources in chemistry has changed dramatically. In this conversation, the results of a survey of college faculty in California regarding current adoptions and remaining barriers to OER adoption in chemistry courses will be shared. Participants will generate and consider ideas for creating more opportunities to improve student engagement and outcomes through OER.
