The deadline for responding to this request for proposals (RFP) is January 31, 2022, 5:00 pm. The anticipated timeline for RFP IV is as follows:

  • Publish Request for Proposals – November 29, 2021
    • Submission portal will be made available by December 14, 2021
  • Informational Webinars/Office Hours – See below
  • Response due January 31, 2022, 5 pm.
  • Evaluation of Submissions February 7 – February 8, 2022
  • Awards Announced by February 18, 2022

RFP IV Reviewers Needed

The ASCCC OERI is in the process of identifying potential reviewers for the proposals we will soon receive in response to the ASCCC OERI Request for Proposals (RFP) IV. If you are not involved in any of the proposals and would be interested in participating in the review process, please complete the ASCCC OERI – RFP IV Reviewer Application. The ASCCC OERI RFP IV Review will take place on Monday, February 7, and Tuesday, February 8. Please let us know if you have any questions about this opportunity. The review process will be conducted remotely and a stipend will be provided to participants.

Submission

All submissions are due on Monday, January 31, 2022, at 5:00 pm. Late applications will not be accepted and incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Registration will be required to submit an application. You can either create an account or use an existing account (i.e., Facebook, Google, or Twitter) to access the application. The ASCCC OERI has developed a framework for reviewing and improving existing OER with respect to IDEA. The ASCCC OERI’s IDEA Framework may be applied not only to OER, but also to commercial and instructor-developed resources to determine if they are appropriate for our students. Join us for a review of the developed framework and a consideration of discipline-specific issues that warrant attention. Assist the OERI in identifying next steps in this evolving approach to improving course resources and student success.

In this webinar we will explore strategies for answering these important questions.
