Open source tools are tools that are freely available without a commercial license. What open source tools are currently being used to teach in dozens of classes at UC Berkeley and how might they benefit your teaching of data science and related courses? Pedagogical materials include both interactive labs and online textbooks. Other tools such as Nbgitpuller and Otter-Grader allow integrations with Campus LMS systems and grading platforms. Come to learn about transformative potential of these resources.
