This summer the Open Educational Resources Initiative (OERI) hosted an IDEA Summer Pilot Program. Twelve faculty members, in multiple disciplines from colleges across the state, participated in a 4-week IDEA assessment training. The purpose of the training was to teach faculty how to apply the IDEA Framework to existing Open Educational Resources (OER). In addition, the participants offered feedback to develop an IDEA Framework assessment process whereby OER can be submitted to the OERI for review.
